1. YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK
Remember a positive mind is a positive life. Start controlling your thoughts about youself, you are capable of doing everything you want and be whoever you want but you have to believe it. Kill that victim mindset and realize that the power that you hold is huge. For example practicing daily affirmations works so good, at the beginning it seems like you are telling lies to yourself but going on you’ll start believe it.
2. YOUR PEACE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PROVING YOUR POINT
How many times during a discussion did you keep arguing to convince others of your idea? I’ll tell you a secret: people will go on with their idea and it’s fine, you can’t convince everyone that you are a good person, that you are right. Remember: who wants to listen will listen, who don’t won’t. Stop giving attention to people that don’t understand you and that are not willing to do it. Those people are just consuming you. Instead of giving them this power, let them go, not fighting back is the bravest thing you can do. Protect you from all the negative energy that comes along.
3. STOP LIVING IN THE PAST!!!
In order to move on with your life and feel better you have to stop living in past situations, experiences or traumas. Whatever happened to you doesn’t matter, start healing those things so they can’t hurt you anymore. The only way to find your inner peace is to forgive the ones who hurt you and learn by those past situations, this doesn’t mean that you have to forget what happened but you can use it in your favor, starts asking yourself ”what did it teach me?”. Realize that it happened and it’s fine, your only focus now should be taking care of yourself and becoming the best person that you possibly can be.
4. PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Instead of feeling sad and angry about what miss in your life start being grateful for what you have. Showing gratitude will put you in a positive mindset and you will start appreciate more the little things in your life. This will also help you to attract good energy and to see things from a different prospective. Your mood will improve and you will start feeling more motivated to achieve your goals. Try to do that aloud everyday and be constant in that. You will see radical changes, trust me.
5. THE LAW OF DETACHMENT
Detachment in life is fondamental. It allows you to protect yourself from others people’s emotions, feeling and behaviors. As humans we tend to put our happiness in the hands of someone else too often, while the only way to find the peace that you are searching from an outside font is looking inside you. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be happy with your partner, family and friends but you have to make sure that you are gonna be fine even without them. Sometimes we stay in a toxic relationship or friendship because it’s comfortable for us, and letting go those people seems scary but once you do that you will gain so much confident in yourself. We should love us regardless of someone’s else opinion. Remember: happiness starts from inside, everyone else is just an extra.
